Getting the Rock Star Treatment!
Wouldn’t it be great to be treated like a rock star, to get extra-special treatment wherever you go? Remember Van Halen’s concert contract with the no brown M&Ms rider?

Although there were other hidden reasons for their request, the takeaway message was that rock stars get special treatment, no matter what they ask for, no matter how outrageous!
I heard a story about a company called Rockstar Painting.
They provide painting services in the Lehigh Valley, PA. They came up with their business name because one of the owners played in a band. Great concept.
But it’s more than a concept…they took the meaning of their name one step further and created their own unique brand that reflected their level of service.

One of their customers shared a story about working with them…
This homeowner contracted with them to paint the exterior building and the shutters of his house. They agreed on the price, and the painters went to work. When the job was finished the house looked great.
Then, the homeowner noticed something else. He also noticed that his porch had been pressure washed too.
He mentioned to the painters that pressure washing the porch hadn’t been part of the original agreement. Rock Star Painting’s owner replied with a big smile, “I know, that’s the Rockstar Treatment!”
They delivered MORE than the customer expected!
Rockstar Painting has a great catch phrase. It’s not just a marketing tag line. It reflects the level of service that they provide…and they live up to that reputation!
They created a memorable brand > Memorable brands have stories worth sharing > Shared stories lead to more business!
Ask yourself and your staff:

- Do you provide anything that makes them feel special?
- Do you give your clients something fabulous to talk about?
- Do your clients think that you are a Rock Star?
